Wow it's hot n humid in Tokyo !
Was hoping for a quiet & relaxed summer...but guess that's not happening. Am doing another gig at the White Beach hotel in Shimoda on the weekend of the 21st & the 22nd. It is so much fun down there...the sun , sand and southern cooking ! Bourbon St.goes to the beach again.
Thanks to the great response am doing another collaboration dinner with Mario on Monday the 30th. We have come up with such a fantastic menu combining some classic dishes from Tuscany and N'Orleans.
Have also finished producing the menu for a really nice Dining Bar in Roppongi called LUSH LIFE. It was interesting to bring in a lot of elements of American cooking for a place where the clientele is mainly Japanese !
You can still find me in the bar on most nights...cold beers and hot women is still our motto for this summer !
